Kangchenjunga, A Pictorial Journey, is het derde luxueus uitgegeven hard-cover boek, geschreven en gefotografeerd door Rudy Dupont.
In 200 pagina’s, met 160 foto’s en per hoofdstuk een korte tekstuele impressie en een plannetje van een afgelegd stuk trail vergezellen we de fotograaf op zijn tocht naar de twee basiskampen rond Kangchenjunga (8586m), de tweede hoogste berg in Nepal, de derde hoogste berg ter wereld.
Het handige landschapsformaat 20 x 25 cm laat toe de meest indrukwekkende foto's over twee pagina’s te spreiden.
De foto’s geven een duidelijk beeld van de diversiteit van de natuur in de twee doortrokken valleien die leiden naar de baiskampên ten noorden en ten zuiden van Kangchjenjunga.
Het boek verschijnt in het Engels en is een co-uitgave met Nepa Map House Kathmandu en zal verdeeld worden via onlineverkoop op Amazon.com, een selectie van onafhankelijke boekhandels, Standaard Boekhandels, gespecialiseerde outdoor winkels en uiteraard in de verschiullende opmerkelijke boekenzaken in Kathmandu en Pokhara (Nepal).

In 200 pages, with 160 and a for each chapter a short evocative text and a travel plan we accompany the photographer on hios journey towards the two high base camps on KAngchenjunga (8586 m), second highest mountain in Nepal, third highest in the worls.
The large landscpae format of 20 x 25 cm allows to print the most impressive pictures over a two-page spread.
The many pictures present a clear image of nature's diversity along the two valleys that lead to both basecamps, one north and one south of Kangchenjunga.
The book is published in English and is a co-production with Nepa Map House, Kathmandu en will be distributed through online sales Amazon.com, a selection of specialist bookstores and outdoor stores or in Belgium and in Nepal (KAthmandu and Pokhara).
